We love it when you adopt cats, but we know that not everyone can. That’s okay! You can support us in other ways.<\/h4>\n

1) Can’t adopt? Foster!<\/h5>\n

A shelter environment is not a good environment for most cats. They are often confined to cages, and it can be loud and scary. The truth is, cats that don’t do well in the shelter are at a higher risk of euthanasia. Foster parents give cats a chance to blossom while they wait for forever homes.\u00a0If you have a little space in your home and heart, you can give a cat a second chance.<\/p>\n

2) Can’t foster? Donate!<\/h5>\n

Your donations help support the care of the cats and kittens in foster care. Recent expenses have included amputation for a kitten with a broken leg, ear surgery for a young cat diagnosed with tumor of the inner ear, and kitten formula and medical treatment for a litter of kittens with complications from an upper respiratory infection (including visits to the veterinary eye doctor!). Capital Cats has no paid staff, your tax-deductible contribution will only be used for food, medicine, and veterinary expenses of the cats in our care!<\/p>\n
